Global Sustainable Ingredients
Locally Sourced for San Bernardino
The Coconut Cooperative connects organic coconut farmers to fair trade ingredient markets across the world.
The Coconut Cooperative brings a wide array of coconut products from the world’s Coconut Triangle to the San Bernardino area, including organic coconut oils and fair trade ingredients. We connect with coconut farmers to source fair trade, organic coconut offerings that not only provide high-quality coconut but support local economies and farmers as well. Our products are USDA organic, non-GMO, Kosher, and fair trade USA certified.
Where Do Our Products Come From?
Our organic coconut sugar comes from Indonesia, where many of the coconut trees are owned by local farmers. Coconut sugar is a light amber color and a healthier alternative to cane sugar and brown sugar. We source our coconut products from the best farmers to ensure the highest quality.
When you’re looking for coconut pieces, or organic coconut oils and other fair trade ingredients in San Bernardino, you can rely on us. We also offer both toasted and untoasted coconut chips. Grown in Sri Lanka, coconut chips are popular with bakers and can be used raw for a wide variety of purposes, ranging from coconut toppings and candy bars to snack mixes and beer brewing. Toasted coconut chips can also be eaten raw, sweetened, or flavored.
Also from Sri Lanka, our coconut flour is high in fiber and low in carbohydrates. That makes it a useful ingredient in paleo diets and for those avoiding carbs for other reasons. Coconut flour is also gluten-free, making it a clever alternative to wheat flour for baking gluten-free goods.
The benefits of coconut oil are well known both cosmetically and dietarily. In addition to being locally sourced from fair trade farmers, our high-quality coconut oil is 100% cold pressed so that it retains all of its health benefits and nutrients.
Coconut milk is delicious and provides many health benefits. Our coconut milk powder provides a shelf-stable, non-dairy, lightweight, and versatile way to store, ship, and incorporate coconut milk. The milk powder can be used in the place of coconut milk in recipes, or it can be added to water to provide a delicious drink. Our coconut milk powder is sourced from hand-selected, organic, Vietnamese coconuts.
